Last Friday of Ramadan 2025!

Thanking Our Community + Request for Duas

We would like to begin by expressing a heartfelt Jazakallahu Khairan to YOU, our dear community member, for another beautiful Ramadan at our beloved Masjid! The spirit and atmosphere at the SW Masjid during Ramadan is truly unmatched in this city. This is only possible because of the incredible brothers and sisters who gathered together night after night, solely for the love and worship of Allah SWT.

As TODAY marks the Last Friday of this Mubarak month, we humbly ask everyone reading this to set aside thirty minutes before Salat al-Maghrib to make dua (a time where duas are accepted – Sa’at Al Istijabah) – for yourself, your family, YOUR Masjid, and for YOUR brothers and sisters in Gaza, Sudan, and across the globe.

Reaping Rewards While Ramadan Is Still Here!

Though Ramadan is coming to a close, there is still time left! TODAY is the LAST Friday, and TONIGHT could be that ONE NIGHT that is better than a THOUSAND MONTHS! So, let’s make the effort to go the extra mile and finish Ramadan on a strong note!

Sheikh Ibn al-Jawzi (Raḥimahullāh) speaks on what our mindset as a believer should be as this Mubarak month ends:

“When the race horse knows that it is nearing the end of the track, it exerts all of its effort to win the race. Do not allow the race horse to be cleverer than you! Indeed, deeds are judged by their conclusions. Thus, if you didn’t do well with welcoming Ramaḍān then perhaps you will do better bidding it farewell.

Fundraising Update

Alhamdulilah, we have had yet another successful Ramadan in terms of donations, thanks to the generous contributions of 1000+ of our brothers and sisters. While we are still a bit short of our original fundraising target, it has been truly amazing to see the love and support from our community during this Mubarak month. We ask Allah SWT to bless your wealth and rizq in this life, and to multiply the rewards for your contributions and efforts in the Akhira.
